Tom Pickard is our (relatively) new Service Manager at Riccall.
Tom joined the company in 2014 as a Service Technician having previously worked in his father’s car garage as a Light Vehicle Motor Engineer.
He adapted quickly to the industry, with a particular interest and knowledge in electrical systems. He specialised in JCB diagnostics and repairs, but soon demonstrated capability in all areas of agricultural machinery. It was clear very early on that Tom would be well suited to management. He’s an excellent technician with painstaking attention to detail and very good communication skills. Outside of work, his hobbies include photography and motorsport.
Alasdair Walker will be familiar to anybody who’s had dealings with service at Riccall as he’s been with us for over 15 years managing the department.
As the company has grown we’ve acquired more and more administration particularly in the area of customer service and warranty, so Alasdair has moved into a new role as ‘Group Service & Warranty Manager’. His responsibilities now include all things warranty related, from negotiations with suppliers to meeting with customers to ensure expectations are being met wherever possible.
Alasdair also works alongside Laura (Director), Oliver (Service Manager at Foxholes) and Tom (Service Manager at Riccall) to ensure the department runs smoothly and always delivers the best service we’re able to.
