Richard Bower (Sales Manager and Director)

Richard has worked in the agricultural industry for many years. He joined Wilfred Scruton Ltd in 2002 and looks after the day to day running of our Riccall depot.  Richard became a company director in 2010

Scott Shirley (Sales)

Scott joined Wilfred Scruton Ltd in 2001 and worked in the stores at Foxholes before moving to Riccall as stores manager.  In 2003 he moved over to machinery sales and covers the area around Pocklington where he lives.

Charles Walmsley (Sales)

Charles having worked in the stores at Riccall moved into sales a few years ago.  Being a local lad he covers the Tadcaster and surrounding area.

The Office Team

Laura Scruton  (Director/Administration)

Laura has worked for the company full-time since 2010 following graduation from York University.  Laura is responsible for the day to day running of the Riccall office and undertakes the warranty submissions and extensions, sales administration, customer service and marketing among other tasks.

Jamie Sellers (Parts Manager)

Jamie joined the company in 2007 and has a vast amount of knowledge of agricultural parts.  In 2012 Jamie became the Parts Department Manager and continues to deliver an excellent service to all.

Jack Daniels

Jack left school in 2006 and joined the company as a trainee technician in the workshop.  Following training, Jack moved to the parts department bringing with him knowledge of machinery from his service training.

The Workshop Team

Alasdair Walker  (Service Manager)

Alasdair joined the company in 2003 with experience from different areas of agriculture including farming, engineering and manufacturing.  As Service Manager, Alasdair oversees the work of all service technicians, deals with customer service and works closely with manufacturers to deliver an excellent standard of aftersales support.

Alan Watkinson

Alan has been in the industry for over 25 years working mainly on tractors and has built up a valued knowledge over many different manufacturers.  He has attended all current Valtra training courses and maintains a high standard of work.  He has also built up a good base knowledge on the JCB products both on repair and servicing.

Tom Stelling

Tom joined the company in 2007 and has gained good experience working on the JCB loadall products and also on the JCB generators.  Fully compliant on other manufacturers equipment including  Kuhn fetiliser spreaders and Kuhn round balers. 

Tony Nicholson

Tony has worked in the agricultural engineering industry for over 24 years gaining valuable knowledge on a wide range of products.  Tony has carried out full training on all Valtra products and also covers JCB loadalls after attending relevant courses.

 

Matt Hodgson

Matt has always been interested in agriculture, coming from a farming background.  Matt joined the company when he left school in 2011 and is currently training as a service technician.  Matt attends Warwickshire college to gain his formal qualifications.

Andy Myers

Andy joined the company in 2011 for work experience as part of the National Diploma in Agricultural Engineering.  Following this, Andy joined us full-time and continued his studies by achieving an Extended Diploma with distinction in his second year of employment, he has since completed his Level 2 Advanced Apprenticeship in Land Based Engineering at Askham Bryan College and continues to study for Level 3
